General 2 — The Center for Spiritual Renewal

The establishment of a Center for Spiritual Renewal will serve both the North American and the Worldwide Christian Community as a gathering space in North America.

Dream it.

We anticipate capacity for 100 for meeting and dining, with accommodation for 40. We hope to build cabins around the pond area and also construct a dormitory on our property or nearby. The cabins can serve as year-round income as an inter-Christian Community Air B&B!

Build it.

Naturally, the center would also serve our needs for synods, larger festival celebrations, cultural events and perhaps open courses for the seminary. Our priests will have a center in which to offer retreats and conferences on a wide variety of topics!

Grow it.

Our organizational plan includes projected estimates for a program director, maintenance, housekeeping, booking, catering, etc. A summary budget is published on this website and a longer, more detailed version is available by request.

The expansion of our community spaces will also serve our thriving and growing local community. We have long ago outgrown the existing spaces, and this expansion of the kitchen capacity and dining and gathering space will support the dynamic local and ongoing use of the space for sacraments, festivals, book studies, lectures, café and cultural events, religious education and confirmation classes, youth and young adult events.

Join us and make a contribution, giving your support in whatever amount you are able to give. Our capital campaign goal is $1,500,000.
